Luray Downtown Initiative’s annual shopping event invites everyone to experience Main Street during the holidays and make your purchases locally.
- Participating shops and restaurants will provide refreshments and a sweet selection of merchandise!
- Enter your wish list to win a “Buy Local” Gift Certificate
- Treats will be available on weekends
“Tis’ the Season for Caring and Sharing”- Friday, November 25 – December 23
ALL participating DOWNTOWN businesses will accept canned food and gifts. Customers SHOPPING for their holiday gifts can give toward a wish list for families in need from the area.
Luray Christmas Parade & Community Appreciation Reception
Saturday, December 10
Town of Luray’s Annual Christmas Parade has a “Caring and Sharing” theme this year. Everyone attending is asked to bring a canned food donation. Donations will be taken along the parade route and at Page One, 42 West Main Street.
- 4pm- Community Appreciation Reception with Santa at the Performing Arts Luray, 1 East Main Street
- Enjoy a community Christmas sing-a-long and refreshments.
- Kids bring your wish list and parents remember the camera.
- Remember “Sparkles and Sweets” is going on downtown!
- 6pm- The parade begins on Lee Street,and follows Main Street to Blue Bell Ave.
- After the Parade- Warm welcome back at PAL with Santa!
