What is a Buy Local Campaign?
Many people give little consideration to the choice of buying from a locally owned store and a chain when deciding where to shop. They may not be aware of the benefits to their town’s economy when choosing local businesses. For every $100 spent at a locally owned store, $68 returns to the local economy through taxes, payroll, etc., compared with about $43 per $100 spent at a big box store. Buying Local does positively impact the economy.
